Electromagnetic Field Testing Technician Course

The Electromagnetic Field Testing Technician course is the only nationally accredited course of its kind in Australia. Consisting of two subjects: Electricity Fundamentals and Electrobiology it will provide the knowledge and the skills to assess AC magnetic fields and Radiofrequencies unique to the built environment using the latest technology, and provide effective remediation solutions to reduce exposure. Upon successful completion of this 240 hour course, students will receive a statement of attainment (NAT10913002 Conduct an Electromagnetic Field Assessment). Students must complete the Electricity Fundamentals subject (12 weeks) online before they are eligible to attend the Electrobiology subject. The Electrobiology subject involves four days of live online sessions (ZOOM) PLUS 12 weeks of self-directed online learning PLUS 2 day onsite field training (Sydney / Melbourne). Timetable HERE. Upon successful completion, students will receive a nationally accredited Statement of Attainment, the “Electromagnetic Field Testing Technician” certificate and ID card. The subjects for this course form part of the Advanced Diploma of Building Biology (10913NAT).

Investment: $3390 ($895 for Electricity Fundamentals PLUS $2495 for Electrobiology).
Award: Upon successful completion, students will receive a nationally accredited Statement of Attainment (NAT10913002 Conduct an Electromagnetic Field Assessment) and ACES certified ID card. The units of competence for this course form part of the Advanced Diploma of Building Biology (NAT10913).
