The Safe and Sound RF Pocket Meter is an economical, compact and easy to use meter designed to measure the radiation emitted from wireless devices* specifically for the public with no technical experience. The colour coded LEDs provides a traffic light response to determine the exposure level (based on Building Biology guidelines) and the type of sound will assist in identifying the source of exposure. The meter has been tested and certified by The Centre for Intelligent Antenna and Radio Systems (CIARS) Lab at the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada and manufactured in Canada and the USA.

To determine the radiofrequency emissions from external and internal sources that impact the home (200 MHz and 8 GHz) such as:
Keep the unit 30 cm from your body. Turn the unit on and wait 10 seconds for the unit to calibrate, then scan the area by moving the meter from side to side (to measure RF signals from all directions). The Building Biology limit is 10 uW/m². For more information regarding the sources of radiofrequencies in the home, read Healthy Home Healthy Family.
