The Safe and Sound RF Pocket Meter is an economical, compact and easy to use meter designed to measure the radiation emitted from wireless devices* specifically for the public with no technical experience. The colour coded LEDs provides a traffic light response to determine the exposure level (based on Building Biology guidelines) and the type of sound will assist in identifying the source of exposure. Instructions:

Keep the unit 30 cm from your body. Turn the unit on and wait 10 seconds for the unit to calibrate, then scan the area by moving the meter from side to side (to measure RF signals from all directions). Traffic light signal:

• Slight: green flashing light (< 1 uW/m²)
• Slight: green light (1 to 10 uW/m²)
• Moderate: yellow light (10 to 100 uW/m²)
• High: orange light (100 to 1,000 uW/m²)
• Extreme: red light (1,000 to 10,000 uW/m²)
• Extreme: red light flashing (>10,000 uW/m²)
